Professor Colleen Medill is the 2023-2024 recipient of the John H. Binning Award for Excellence. This award is presented annually to a professor who excels in teaching, research or public service.
This year, Professor Medill completed a new edition of her Employee Benefits case book, along with an extensive and comprehensive teaching manual. She also published a Property edition for the Developing Professional Skills series, including interactive lessons, and a law review article that is forthcoming in the St. Thomas Law Review.
Professor Medill regularly teaches classes open to prospective students, and provides unrelenting service to Nebraska Law and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, including serving as the law school’s liaison for the Business and Law major offered at the College of Business.
