Professor Jessica Shoemaker has been elected Vice President of the Association of Law, Property & Society at their annual meeting, hosted by the University of Southampton in England. According to their website, the ALPS is "a membership organization for scholars doing interdisciplinary legal scholarship on all aspects of property law and policy including; real, personal, intellectual, intangible, cultural, personal, and other forms of property."
Professor Shoemaker also served as Program Chair for this meeting, which drew over 150 scholars from around the globe to share interdisciplinary work on all aspects of property law, theory, and practice.
