Professor Kristen Blankley has been named the 2024-2025 Chair of the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee (IAC). The IAC is a committee appointed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Faculty Senate and has oversight over the academic side of Husker Athletics.
The committee approves student-athlete travel schedules and conducts a review of one academic program offered through Athletics each year. These reviews endure that practices are consistent with the educational mission of the University and that they support student-athletes in both their academic and athletic endeavors.
