Discover Nebraska Law Days

Join us for one of our Discover Days and get to know Nebraska Law and what makes our school special. Talk with Admissions, Career Development and current students. You'll get a chance to tour our beautiful building, including our newly renovated library and innovative clinic space. Most Discover Days also offer a chance to attend a first-year law class. Financing Your Legal Education

The recent passage of the Big Beautiful Bill will affect student loan availability and capacity. If you find yourself confused about what that all means, join us for this session as we give you the information you need to make good financial decisions about your future. Nebraska Law’s Scholarship & Financial Aid Specialist, Katie Thimmesch, along with Assistant Dean Melissa McCoy, will share what they know about changes to the student loan program, make recommendations, and help you understand how the Big Beautiful Bill will affect you as a Nebraska Law student.
