Professor Berger has written a book review about Professor Corinna Lain's forthcoming book, Secrets of the Killing State. Lain's book explores the many problems with lethal injection in the U.S. and concludes that lethal injection is broken and cannot be fixed.
Berger's review, entitled "The Court and the Killing State," focuses on courts' role in lethal injection. It was recently accepted for publication by the Michigan Law Review.
