ALUM NOTES

Dennis R. Riekenberg, ’81, has been inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, a professional association whose membership consists of ADR professionals distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution. 

Rebekah K. Caruthers, ’07, was the keynote speaker at the Metropolitan Community College Black History Month Kickoff. Caruthers is vice president of the Fair Elections Center. 

Derek A. Grutsch, ’17, has been named partner in the Omaha office of Stinson, practicing corporate finance. 
 

ALUM IN THE NEWS

Joy Smith-McCormick, ’02, has joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) as the lead counsel, furthering their mission of empowering children. BBBSA stands as one of the oldest and most respected youth mentoring organizations in the United States, dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children for over 120 years. Smith-McCormick will oversee all legal matters on a national level.
