Students enrolled in the College of Law’s Estate Planning Clinic provide free basic estate planning services to eligible community members. The Clinic provides services through two primary programs: the Wills for Heroes Program and the Rural Estate Planning program.
The Estate Planning Clinic operated as part of the College’ Civil Clinic since 2013 and was spun off as a separate Clinic starting in the summer of 2021.
The focus of the Estate Planning Clinic is two-fold: provide free, basic estate planning services eligible clients in need, and to provide senior law students an opportunity to build competency in client communication and interaction, legal problem solving, and drafting and executing common estate planning documents.
