Duane W. Acklie Honor Scholarship

Students who apply early may apply for the Duane W. Acklie Honor Scholarship. This scholarship pays half of a student's tuition and is intended for applicants who graduated from a Nebraska high school or have a parent or grandparent who graduated from the University of Nebraska. Preference is given to students who are from rural parts of Nebraska and students who have financial need. Candidates for this scholarship must apply before November 15th. Successful candidates will be notified in December and must pay their first and second deposits by January 1, 2023. Applicants who fail to pay their deposits within the allotted time will forfeit their award but will retain their admission to the college.
