Class Standing and Grade Scale

STANDING

As of Spring 2023, the University of Nebraska College of Law does not make available students' class rank except to those students in the top 12% of each class. Instead, we provide tables relating grade averages to approximate position in the class. The tables are recalculated at the conclusion of the Spring semester each year.

The following table was produced on June 10, 2026.

If you are a student who has questions about how to express your class rank or standing in any application materials, please contact the Career Development Office.
