The University of Nebraska requires that a release be signed in order for the College of Law to use photos, videos or audio recordings. Please read and sign the release below. This will need to be turned in at orientation prior to your 1L photo being taken.
RECORDING CONSENT AND RELEASE FORM
I, the undersigned individual, grant the Board of Regents of The University of Nebraska, its chief governing administrative unit, component universities, and such other institutions and units as may be designated by the Legislature, their representatives, employees, agents and assigns (collectively, “The University of Nebraska”), the perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to:
1. Record my participation and appearance with photography, videography, audio or any other medium (collectively, the “Recordings”).
2. Use my name, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with these Recordings to be used only in or for The University of Nebraska written, electronic and web publications. (Purpose).
3. Reproduce, distribute, in print, electronic or any other medium, copies of the Recordings, in whole or in part. Grantor represents that he or she is not a minor and possesses all rights necessary to grant this permission for and in connection with the Purpose.
This grant of rights is made voluntarily by me. I further agree to release and forever discharge The University of Nebraska, from any and all claims in law or equity that I, my spouse, heirs or personal representatives, have or shall have, arising out of the Recordings.
The consent and release is governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska.
