Miriam graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in May 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.S. in Sociology. She also minored in Human Rights Studies. Miriam will be attending law school in the future to become a human rights attorney and has a desire to focus on criminal justice reform and women’s rights, particularly concerning women in the Middle East.

After working as a legal assistant at an immigration law firm, she joined the College of Law in August 2022 as a Recruitment Specialist where she recruits students and promotes the benefits of receiving a legal education. She is a notary public, is a member of the Underserved Law Opportunities Program, and has also worked with the ACLU, the Malcolm X Foundation, and the League of Women Voters.
