Magilton Speaks on Space Law Panel

Elsbeth Magilton, Executive Director of the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center, and the Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications Law program, was a featured speaker during the AscendxSummit virtual Space Law panel, Oct. 21.

During the panel, Magilton shared her insight and perspective on topics like how schools and colleges around the country are shaping and preparing law students for the rapidly changing landscape of the space law industry, and how space relates to technology and security.

The panel was moderated by Michelle Hanlon, Co-Director, Center for Air and Space Law, University of Mississippi School of Law, and featured speakers Andrea Harrington, Department Chair of the Department of Spacepower and Director of the Schriever Space Scholars concentration, USAF Air Command and Staff College; Jessica Noble, General Counsel, Nanoracks; and Alicia Woodley, Chief Counsel and Director of Internal Corporate Operations, Axiom Space.

The AscendXSummit is a platform that hosts discussion, collaboration and debate between industry leaders, and was launched by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
