Melissa McCoy is Assistant Director of Admissions and works with prospective students to help them decide if Nebraska College of Law is a good fit for their educational goals. Ms. McCoy earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English as well as a graduate certificate in Nineteenth Century Studies from the University of Nebraska. Prior to joining the admissions team at Nebraska Law in 2015, she spent nearly twelve years overseeing recruiting and marketing for adult and graduate programs at Nebraska Wesleyan University where she also taught courses in composition, communication, and literature.

 Melissa is a past president, former board member, and active member of NOVA Business and Professional Women. She currently serves on the financial development committee of the YWCA of Lincoln. Ms. McCoy can also be heard as an on-air announcer during fund drives for NET Radio, which is Nebraska’s NPR station.
