Information for Admitted Students

College of Law Staff Available

As part of the University’s response to COVID-19, NU President Ted Carter and Chancellor Ronnie Green have asked that all staff that are able to work remotely do so beginning on Monday, March 23. Beginning Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m. McCollum Hall and the Schmid Law Library will be closed to student and public access.

The College of Law staff and administrators will be working vigilantly to ensure that your needs are met and you can stay connected to Nebraska Law. You should feel free to contact any member of the admissions staff as you normally would.

We are sorry to announce that we are cancelling our upcoming Admitted Student Day, scheduled for April 3rd. We wish that you could visit and see for yourself what a special place this is for students. But, because that just isn’t a good option right now, we have some alternative ways for you to get to know us.

We are currently offering private virtual visits and virtual drop-in meetings for admitted students. Prospective students are also invited to schedule virtual visits. You can complete this online form to schedule a visit or visit our Schedule a Visit page for more information.

We invite all admitted students to join the Class of 2023 Facebook group and start getting to know some of the people with whom you will be sharing experiences during the next three years. Simply click the link above or search “Nebraska Law – Class of 2023” on Facebook and ask permission to join the group. Then we suggest you introduce yourself, ask a question, or just get a conversation started! If your Facebook name is different than the name we have listed on your application, please let us know so we don’t accidentally deny you!
