All of the books listed below are available at the University Bookstore at the East Campus Union except for those books that are specifically marked as available in the Dean's Office. Some used books may be found at the University Bookstore or at the SBA Booksale. All of the books listed below are required unless specifically marked as optional. An optional book is one that the Professor thinks might be helpful for you to have. Rather than immediately buying an optional book, you might consider waiting until a few weeks into the semester and then deciding whether it would be worthwhile for you to buy the book. Be advised that when purchasing your book(s) online through places like Amazon.com, do not use the ISBN alone. Confirm the correct book by Publisher and Edition that are listed with the title. Do your ISBN search here.

Comprehensive Commercial Law: 2008 STAT SUPPL **: (LAW 644)

Secured Transactions Wilson

All students must purchase a statutory supplement for this course. I recommend the most recent edition of the statutory supplement that I use in all of my commercial law course because students often enroll in more than one of these courses. This supplement contains the entire Uniform Commercial Code (Articles 1-9); the Bankruptcy Code; and several federal statutes used in the payments course. However, you may purchase any statutory supplement that contains Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Bankruptcy Code. One of your textbook authors, Elizabeth Warren, offers a smaller statutory supplement (slightly less expensive) containing the Bankruptcy Code and selected provisions of Article 9. Older versions of a statutory supplement (2008) may also be used for the course. If you have any questions, please email me before making your purchase. You may reach me at: cwilson2@unl.edu.
