The College of Law is committed to providing staff, faculty, and students computer hardware, software, and services to enhance all aspects of teaching and learning. Information services at the Law College are:

Anti-Virus

Sophos is the official anti-virus software for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It is installed on all UNL owned personal computers and laptops.

Sophos is also available for use on all student owned personal computers and laptops. All staff and faculty may also install Sophos on home personal computers and laptops. This is an option and other anti-virus software may be purchased for home use. It is recommended that you continue to pay the annual subscriptions to these other services to keep your anti-virus software current.

Spyware is a program installed on your computer, usually without your explicit knowledge, that causes pop-ups, slows network traffic, interferes with any/all windows functions, installs viruses, and transmits personal information to others.
