Nebraska Goes Global: International Astronautical Congress/International Institute of Space Law Annual Meeting

On September 24-28, 2007, Professor Matt Schaefer, Executive Director Jessica Schaefer, and Asst. Dean of Admissions Sarah Gloden traveled to Hyderbad, India (the fifth largest city in India and the country's "second silicon valley") to promote and market Nebraska's LL.M. program at the International Astronautical Congress and International Institute of Space Law Annual Meeting. This trip put Nebraska’s program on the "international map," particularly because the hiring of Professor Frans von der Dunk was announced at the conference. The conference also allowed UNL to rapidly expand its international contacts in the space law arena.
