As a service to its alumni and friends, the College of Law is happy to provide free CLE credits during the 2013-2014 academic year as it provides a wonderful opportunity to use the facility and reconnect. While we are able to offer the CLE course to Alumni of the College at no cost, all other attendees will be asked to pay a $20 fee at the door, exact change is required.  All attendees are responsible for costs related to parking. For more information on where to park, please see below.

The Supreme Court vs. The Constitution

Speaker: Gerald Walpin

DATE: Wednesday, October 30, 2013
TIME: 12:00 - 1:00pm
College of Law, Auditorium
Approved for 1 CLE credit hour

DESCRIPTION:

Is the Constitution under attack? The Justices of the Supreme Court are duty-bound by their oath of office to "support and defend the Constitution." Too often, however, a majority of Justices have substituted their personal views regarding social policy for the mandates of the Constitution and the Court's precedent. Judicial activism is not limited to the political "right" or "left" alone, and its consequences affect us all. Please join us to hear Gerald Walpin address this important issue.

PARKING INFORMATION

Parking is available in the parking lot South of the College of Law for $6.00 at the registration table. EXACT CHANGE IS REQUIRED. The permit will need to be hung from the rearview mirror of your vehicle, or you risk getting a ticket.
