The overall community within the College has amazed me. I've come to realize there may be nothing more important to law school success than forming relationships with your peers, after all, not only are they the individuals sharing in your struggles and achievements, but also the lawyers who will one day work beside you. Whereas many law schools have a bad reputation for a "dog eat dog" student environment, nothing can be further from the truth at UNL. Furthermore, the dedication shown by professors not only to the law, but to student success has been a welcomed surprise. The professors continuously work to equip us with the necessary tools by reworking curriculum and being approachable for any concerns we may have. Lastly, the faculty and administration round out the student experience. Whether it's organizing student events, aiding in the search for summer jobs, or resolving crises, the staff make sure students can put their focus on achievements in the classroom and the community.
