The search for legal employment, whether you are a student or a graduate, can be complex and frustrating. The Career Services Office exists to help you with this search. While we can't find a job for you, we strive to bring together the resources, programs, strategies, and information that you will need in conducting a successful job search.

Handouts and in-depth guides covering the major areas of concern for most job seekers are available on this website. This is just enough to get you started on the right track. There is no replacement for one-on-one counseling.

Welcome to the Student section of our Career Services website! We have gathered useful career advice and practical materials together into one location for your convenience. The CSO is here to assist you. If there is something you are looking for that you don’t see here, please contact us or stop in and discuss it with someone on the Career Services staff.

This page is broken into two distinct sections: "Exploring Careers" and "Finding Employment." The “Exploring Careers” section is designed to help you begin thinking about all the options available to you as a student and as an eventual graduate of the law college. The “Finding Employment” section presents more of the nuts and bolts of the interview and application process with tips on professionalism and best resources thrown in for good measure. We hope you find these pages useful.  We welcome your feedback as the website is a continual work in progress!
