Application
You may apply to the University of Nebraska College of Law through one of three methods:
1. You may request a paper application from the College of Law, or you may download the application and instructions in Adobe Acrobat format. Click on the appropriate link below. If you choose to apply to the College of Law using the paper application, the application fee is $25.
2. You may submit an electronic application that has been prepared and transmitted through the Law School Admission Council. All LSDAS registrants with LSAC online accounts have access to electronic JD applications from all ABA approved law schools and may apply electronically at no additional charge. If you prefer, you may also print your application out and mail it. Applications submitted to LSAC for transmission to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law will be considered postmarked on the day they are electronically submitted.
3. You may apply electronically using the individual law school electronic application accessible through the Apply Online link provided below.
The application fee to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law is $25.
Transfer Students
The College of Law accepts applications from students seeking to transfer from other law schools in accordance with the standards of the American Bar Association (ABA). In order to apply for admission as a transfer student, applicants must be in good academic standing at the law school currently being attended and must have completed the equivalent of at least one year but less than two years of law school. Visiting Students
The College of Law accepts applications from students who are interested in taking courses at the College of Law for transfer credit to the law school from which they will be receiving their degree. In order to apply for admission as a visiting student, the applicant must be a degree candidate at an ABA-approved law school.
